In the spring of 2006 I became the secretary of a local Business Club and asked to take on the task of re-forming it after the original club had closed down.

I found that the main problem was that busy business people do not have the time to go along to meetings on a regularly basis.

So I merged the Club's site with new web site that would provided up to date information for all local Southampton business users free of charge, which proved to be an instant success.

Membership of the Southampton Business Network entitles the user to full access of the web site, have a free advert on the site and send out as details about their business, free of charge to other members

During the next few months I will be promoting my site within the Hampshire area and building up the sites membership and e-mail contacts.
